Hi, I’m Jo Claire!

I’m a mom of two, a chronic hobbyist and the person behind Thread and Therapy.

I began stitching because I wanted to make stockings for my girls. What started as one special project quickly became a hobby I truly loved—and a creative outlet that felt a little like therapy.

That’s how Thread and Therapy came to life.

I created this brand for stitchers with feelings—which is all of us, right? My needle minders combine humor, encouragement, mental health and a little bit of attitude. Some will make you laugh, some may feel a little too relatable and others are simply here to keep your needle from disappearing into the couch.

My mission is to help stitchers feel seen, encouraged and connected while adding more personality to the hobby we love.

Whether needlepoint is your creative outlet, your quiet time, your coping mechanism or your favorite excuse to ignore the laundry, you’re in the right place.

Welcome to Thread and Therapy—where we’re stitching through the feelings, one needle minder at a time.
